AIBU to stay in my pjs all day?

Dp has taken Ds to a party, I can't go anywhere because my car is in the garage.

I'm still not dressed, I'm not expecting any visitors but my landlord has a habit of popping round unexpectedly.

I am planning on showering then putting clean pjs on.

Is it really minging? I'm off work sick too after a miscarriage, I spent a couple of days after the op not getting dressed. This feels different though and I have a nagging voice in my head telling me it's wrong.

I'm in my pyjamas as I have no plans. Join me (in spirit).

Muddledandunsure · 09/08/2014 14:05

That makes me feel better that I'm not alone.

I'm in mine still. Everyone needs a pj day every now and then.

MintyChops · 09/08/2014 14:06

I'd love to do that, enjoy!!

Buttercup27 · 09/08/2014 14:08

I generally do all my cleaning in my pj's. If I get dressed into proper clothes I'm more tempted to abandon the cleaning and go out!

BlinkAndMiss · 09/08/2014 14:08

YANBU, I did the exact same yesterday for the exact same reasons. I never stay in my PJs all day but I feel so much better for it.

It's only 1 day, do it!

LadyTubbington · 09/08/2014 14:09

Me and ds nipped out this morning to buy new pyjamas, so we could have a pyjama day

RedPony · 09/08/2014 14:10

I'm still in my pj's. Got up with 4 week old Ds at half 7 and have been sat on the sofa munching cookies, Bfing and having snuggles. It's how I spend most of my days at the moment Grin

Smokeyrobinson · 09/08/2014 14:11

Hallo newbie here. So sorry to hear about your miscarriage. A PJ day is just the ticket. Take care.

RedPony · 09/08/2014 14:11

And I'm so sorry about your Mc :( you definitely deserve a day in your pj's!

Muddledandunsure · 09/08/2014 14:13

Right that's it, I'm having a pj day.

Thanks all of you, I don't feel guilty now.

Why bother with the PJs? It's warm enough to feel the air on your skin. :)

Muddledandunsure · 09/08/2014 14:23

It's chucking it down here, definitely nit warm enough to be naked.

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage. PJ day will do you the world of good. Get cosy, get a cup of tea (or preferred beverage ) and snuggle down for the day. No expectations, no pressure just relax. Enjoy.

LuckySaint · 09/08/2014 14:25

I'm still not dressed.
Had a lousy week and I want a lazy day.

Take it easy op.
Sorry about your Mc Flowers

spongebob5 · 09/08/2014 14:27

I rarely get out of my pj's before lunchtime on weekends. I work all week so why not? Enjoy your pj day :)

LuckySaint · 09/08/2014 14:27

I'm watching old Nigella episodes on the food network.
Dh has taken Ds2 out.
And Ds1 is out, it's bliss.

misstiredbuthappy · 09/08/2014 14:37

Sorry about your mc op Thanks

Me and dd are in our pjs under a duvet watching movies not feeling very well. Going to be extra lazy tonight and have a take out cant possibly cook if im unwell can I Grin

ruth1104 · 09/08/2014 14:41

Totally reasonable. Unlike your landlord, who legally has to give you at least 24hrs notice even if its just 'popping round'

Icelollycraving · 09/08/2014 15:03

Wear pjs & be comfy. Sorry to hear about your miscarriage Thanks

Yanbu, everyone deserves a pj day. Get some takeout , put on a movie and enjoy.

PeachyParisian · 09/08/2014 20:15

YANBU I stayed in my pjs until about 3pm & at 3.30 my landlord showed up!
