My friend thought this was bad, but she gives him sweets as snacks. I thought gorging on fruit is OK as your body can regulate natural food better and it has vitamins

As long as you're prepared for the loose bowels later today! Shock

Sounds fine to me. Much better than sweets and it's only one meal

Imnotaslimjim · 09/08/2014 13:03

Your friend sounds like my sister. Apparently her dc don't like fruit or veg but they eat it fine here. She thinks I'm mad when I decline sweets on my dc behalf just before dinner

My dsis used to give my dcs apple juice and sweets just before meals and wonder why they weren't hungry at meal time......some people just don't think.

Reading with interest, my boy wolfs them down! His favourite fruit by far.

I wouldn't say it was good to have on its breakfast on its own as it has hardly any calories and breakfasts should be calorific.

I would not recommend gorging on anything.
