To wonder if anyone actually watches Gino and Mel?

It's on in the break room at work.

It's fucking dreadful. Cue loads of random 'games' and chanting 'mel, mel, mel...' Over and over, Gino is a terrible cook, the audience randomly keep chanting stuff at guests to add to the fun... It's SO bad!

How is this on? Do people watch this?

Gino and Mel's on screen 'faux flirting' and endless innuendoes are utterly unbearable... It's like watching my mum flirting with my boss. Actually, that would be easier to watch...

I quite enjoy it. Made a few of the recipes and they are lovely.

I watched it once and it was terrible. Gino cooked something ladened with fat and sugar, then practically force fed it to some poor love in the audience who was already overweight. I turned it off.

He looks good in his tight chinos, but Mel looks kinda odd

My 9 yr old DD got 'hooked' on this over summer as she's at her gran's & my mum watches this when loose women isn't on. She loves it. I'm 'meh' about it as I'm usually at work or out.

I can not stand Melanie Sykes, I would put her in the same camp as Denise Van Outen and Tess Daly.

It's the way they try to get the audience involved, you know? Like 'look at how FUN we are... All this FUN we're having, you'll love this show!'

DS2(17) and I do! DS2 has been working all week so is going to be pissed off that it has finished now.

I watched it once when I was ill (the only excuse I have) and it was dreadful. It did not help with my recovery one little bit.

Otherwise, it is dross. I don't know why it keeps getting re-commissioned.

Just thought the same. Can't bear Gino - he's also such a hypocrite- he said on today 's programme how awful ready meals are. Yes, they are, Gino, but didn't you once work as a development chef for ready meals?

I can't help thinking of that gross tweet "giddy knickers" when I see Mel's gurning chops. I loved her with Des but that whole saucy tweet saga really put me off her.

The only time my TV goes on in the day for adult viewing is so I can watch a bit of Judge Judy. I loves her

Thought Gino is looking well rough. Huge bags under eyes and overly tired looking. Even make up can't disguise it.
