AIBU to ask them to refund the postage money?

Hello everyone. A few days ago, I ordered a jacket for my daughter's 13th birthday next week, on the Urban Outfitters website. It was my first time using this company.
The jacket arrived yesterday in the wrong size (it was about as opposite ends of the sizing scale as you could get, so not even one size out!), so will need to be returned. Fortunately there is an OU in the city where I live, so I should be able to get a refund there. The jacket is an online exclusive, so I don't think I'll be able to do a straightforward exchange in store.
Think is, will they be able to give me a refund in store for the cost of the postage I paid? It would seem unfair if not, as it's their mistake.
Would rather not have the rigmarole of having to post the jacket back, and then waiting for the money to be refunded.
I have emailed them to ask, but no reply. Don't think I'll be using them again!
Thanks in advance.

I doubt they will refund the postage but imagine these things are at the discretion of the store manager so I would try asking very politely if they will.

Ring the store and ask if they will be able to do it, the tills may not be able to scan the code.

Aye, good point. Will ring them in advance. Thanks for your replies.

Defiantly worth asking I returned a dress that ordered online back to shop as it was faulty and they refunded and re-ordered new one without any additional delivery charges as guesture if goodwill.

U ordered online so European laws mean u get your postage back if you return the full order within 14 days.

I agree you ought to get the postage back but I doubt they'll be able to do it in store. I know that office accept online returns but don't process them in the shop.
