As above, promise I'm not the poo troll, yoni massage, penis beaker, cutted up pear, t-Rex etc. have NC for this, oooobviously!

Please help! I have used johnsons extracare wipes (green stripe, aloe willowherb) for probably a decade? For all of my children, and to erm, finish the job, when in the bathroom myself. They have been discontinued, no warning, no stocking up. I had a months worth which has now run out...what should I use for myself and the DCs if they want to use a 'moist toilet product' at the end? Needs to be pretty gentle and kind, I am willing to use washable wipes for the baby still in nappies but not for the rest of us Grin

Your recommendations please, be brave and share, but don't be rude! I have piles sometimes, and all the other baby wipe type products I have tried have left my bottom really sore and red. Same for the DCs. We don't have particularly sensitive skin though Confused

I like the sensitive Huggies ones, I think they have aloe vera or something in them. They're very soft and gentle IME :)

WitchWay · 07/08/2014 12:32

are sitting on the loo, waiting for an answer?

Aha ha no it's not a live help thread Wink I'd probably get more suggestions that way though, wouldn't I! Grin

Good suggestions so far, thank you. Keep em coming! Andrex and the like, any good? I've tried the Lidl ones at my mums, they were ok for emergencies but not sure i could use them daily...

Hmm do you really need them?

Loo roll suffices for most people.

Also please don't say you flush them.

ILiveOnABuildsite · 07/08/2014 12:42

I second the sensitive Huggies with aloe vera, the ones in the green packs. I used them for dd since she was born they are very soft and gentle.

fairgame · 07/08/2014 12:46

I use the andrex wet wipes. I like them coz they can be flushed but i will admit they can be a bit harsh on delicate areas

PuppyMonkey · 07/08/2014 12:48

Aloe Vera toilet roll gave me massive itching fanjo- I wouldn't put anything perfumed up there ever again personally it's asking for trouble.Confused

wafflyversatile · 07/08/2014 12:51

can be flushed isn't the same as should be flushed. Just use normal toilet roll. It's been good enough for everyone else forever.

WhereDoAllTheCalculatorsGo · 07/08/2014 12:51

I use 'Tesco loves toddler' Apple scented toilet wipes. Only 70p for a pack of 60 and sometimes 2 for £1.
Flushable, cheap and smell lovely.

SunnyRandall · 07/08/2014 12:51

We have the andrex ones or supermarket own brand.

WhereDoAllTheCalculatorsGo · 07/08/2014 12:53

They do come in sensitive too; unscented.

PromiseImNotAPooTroll · 07/08/2014 13:00

Thanks so far, going to tesco later so will check those suggestions out :)

No, of course I don't flush them, never have done, not likely to ever Hmm. There are always nappy sacks in my bag to tide me over until a bin becomes available, on the odd occasion there isn't one in the bathroom.

And actually, no ordinary toilet roll often isn't sufficient, if you have piles. I shan't bother to explain why...if you've had ever them you'll know, if you haven't then lucky you, the joy possibly awaits you in the future Grin

I second the Tesco toddler ones. They were great for DS when potty training, and he has eczema and they never caused him irritation.

MrsDmitriTippensKrushnic · 07/08/2014 13:05

Dry paper when you have piles isn't fun for those asking why dry isn't good enough. FWIW we either get the Lidl sensitive or Tesco brand. We don't flush even though they say flushable - we bin and empty it regularly.

goingloombandcrazy · 07/08/2014 13:07

Water wipes.boots sell them

QuidditchTonedThighs · 07/08/2014 13:18

These are really nice and gentle OP:

I understand about not using toilet paper when you have piles and think people are being really bloody rude saying you don't need wipes.

loudarts · 07/08/2014 13:25

The Morrison's ones are pretty good.

FreeButtonBee · 07/08/2014 13:25

second water wipes. They are very gentle.

RebeccaCloud9 · 07/08/2014 13:32

I use Andrex and they've always been fine - much preferred to supermarket own brands that tend to be a little drying.

Waffly if you try wipes, you'll never go back, it's an epiphany! I bet some people said the same about soft toilet paper vs the tracing paper stuff you used to get back in the day!

bungmean · 07/08/2014 13:35

Tesco standard moist toilet tissues are the best in my opinion. Not the tesco deluxe.

CrohnicallyDepressed · 07/08/2014 13:40

I just use Asda little angels sensitive baby wipes- the same brand as I use for DD. There's no real difference between 'toilet' wipes and 'baby' wipes! And they're un scented so you won't smell like a baby.

ThatsNotWhatISaid · 07/08/2014 13:46

OP, I love your nickname Grin

No advice about wipes but why on earth are you putting up with piles? Confused I had a little operation and got rid of mine and I am soooooo glad that I did. Yes it's a bit Blush Blush but it was quick and relatively painless very uncomfortable though Hemerroid operations are extremely common. (I REALLY can't spell that word)

I don't know how old you are but do you really want to put up with them for the rest of your life,

Cheebame · 07/08/2014 13:48

We have squares of newspaper on a nail. We're in the north though.
