Amazon selling kids album with Lost Prophets image

Hi am I being unreasonable in thinking this is wrong!
Browsing amazon this morning for kids party album and a Hannah Montana Party Album was there but with image of Lost Prophets.
After what Ian Watkins did, is this not a highly inappropriate mix up?
I did a live chat with Amazon to tell them and the guy said he would pass the info to right department but it was not likely to be changed!
Am I alone in thinking that is ridiculous?

I think it's important to remember there were other band members who didn't do anything wrong and are sickened by what's happened. B

Yes you are. 3 other people worked damn hard on that music and now is so ruined because of him.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's up there as a 'joke' by some disgruntloed e-content employee!
Hope the customer service team sort it out.

I would say its clearly a mistake....or, as Squid says, a "joke". I don't think that the Hannah Montana party album actually has a Lost Prophets cover on it.

How would little kids know who he is (in relation to his crimes)?

What harm would come to them seeing his face, amongst many others, on a CD cover?

It is, at worst, very unfortunate. As others have said, I doubt the lost prophets are actually on the real cd cover and even if they were, kids wouldn't know about Ian Watkins anyway. I also think it must be a 'joke' too or a quite big coincidence.

I think you did the right thing to flag it up to them (as it would be with any product with incorrect information) but I don't think there is any need for outrage beyond that.

There were other members of the band who did nothing wrong though. lost prophets was not one man. I think its so sad for the other band members. Heard they're making a new band though, i really hope people will let them move on.

as my ds pointed out to me when I asked what he was going to do with his LP cd.

I've just looked for their CDs on amazon to see what the cover is like, and a Gary Glitter CD comes up on the same page!
It would be odd to think fans can carry on listening to the music as if nothing has happened though. His actions have changed it for ever. I'm fond of "Two Little Boys" and I loved "I love you love" but they have been tainted by the actions of the singers. Obviously others involves on these records too.
Still no idea what the Hannah Montana connection is.

I think it's just an error with the image on Amazon's website. Maybe someone thought they were being a wheeze.

I'd never heard of Lost Prophets or Ian Watkins until the case came up. Plenty of others won't have either.

they might have heard of 'H' from Steps though, whose real name is also Ian Watkins and has had a LOT of grief over this horrible affair. Is it another mixup like that?

As others have said there were other members of LP. I see nothing wrong with selling LP stuff or buying it.

Yeah the other LP guys made a new band but the music I've heard from them is naff in comparison to their LP works. Much as I'd like to support them :-(

I don't know, I think it would be kind of strange to listen to LP songs now and hear Ian Watkins voice on there, knowing what he did I don't know what eg. Radio 1's stance on it is, I don't think they would play any of their stuff anymore would they?

Regardless of that, it'll be someone playing a trolly joke. Someone's switched the images.

Found it. Yep, that's definitely a joke, and I think it might be a prat at the third-party seller's, not Amazon's.

Oh, I see I've misunderstood. I thought it was some sort of compilation cd with a soundtrack to the kids' tv show, but with him featuring on it. Ignore me!

No, there were four other members who (by all accounts) are nice and talented men.

They worked hard and really didn't deserve what happened.

They must feel like shit. Having their images banned won't help that.

I think there are two discussions going on here.
If a company are deliberately using a LP cover on a HM product then they are making a joke about the abuse of children. Nothing to do with selling a LP cd in the cd section.
