AIBU to have expected an explanation and apology and solution to a company not turning up for an appointment confirmed early July for a sofa clean this past saturday at 8am. It is now tuesday, after 2 mails one on saturday morning after hanging around the house waiting, another yesterday...numerous calls (to which they dont answer), i eventually got through to someone this morning who does not apologise, says she could see it was booked and says she did not know that they were unaware the work was not done. she promised to call the technician and call me back. It is now past 3.30pm and not a word....AIBU to be really annoyed and want to demand they resolve at theirn own expense and at my convenience???

It was a Groupon offer so technically I have paid. They were expecting another 10 quid on completion. It's just the lack of apology over inconvenience caused that possess me off...I mean what happened to customer service. I woke DS up to get ready for them to do cleaning at 8am on a Saturday and then hung around waiting even though I had other errands to run. Just a bit annoyed. :-(
