I don't know if they'd be called "in-jokes" exactly, but I always see posters refer to things like:
Naice ham
Pom bears
Penis beaker
Etc...

Now I've been on mumsnet for almost a year and I caught the penis beaker hoopla Grin But what's the story with the other ones? Including the ones I forget right now, you know the ones. I'd like to know!

Haha!
I'm so not Exit.
I've kept a brain exclusion zone around fucking Pom bears

LBOCS · 03/08/2014 20:47

My favouritist ever thread was with Bupcakes' unsuccessful name change.

Cutted up pear is very good too.

skillsandtea · 03/08/2014 20:48

LDC (lemon drizzle cake) was another fantastic thread. Superb PTA frolics..

FruVikingessOla · 03/08/2014 20:49

Annietheacrobat · 03/08/2014 20:51

I loved the Mexican holiday home thread

Annietheacrobat · 03/08/2014 20:51

I loved the Mexican holiday home thread

TheFirstOfHerName · 03/08/2014 20:58

My favourite Mn classic was the pregnant woman forgetting to put on her bikini bottoms before she left the changing rooms and her partner trying to let her know in a stage whisper: "Your minge!"

I think it was TSC.

OublietteBravo · 03/08/2014 21:01

LBOCS I loved Bupcakes 'my vagine' thread too.

MoominKoalaAndMiniMoom · 03/08/2014 21:02

Hi dobe Grin

River of sweetcorn was one of my favourites Grin howled at that one.

TheWorldAccordingToJC · 03/08/2014 21:03

I'm the star of one of these threads but couldn't possibly comment which one Wink

It was years ago now anyway but a hoot at the time

BoysAreLikeDogs · 03/08/2014 21:07

clicky me for a really helpful link

TalcAndTurnips · 03/08/2014 21:09

TheWorld - I do so hope that you are charmkin; star of the Links are my Nemesis thread.

If you are, I love you. I would willingly lie in a puddle so that you did not get your shoes wet. That was the funniest, most whimsical thread.

OublietteBravo · 03/08/2014 21:10

I also loved the thread where the OP was trying to retrieve a plate that had been dropped behind the toilet - anyone remember that one?

Justgotosleepnow · 03/08/2014 21:13

Whenever I see a cake in the supermarket I get this urge to punch it. Can't think why Wink

hollyisalovelyname · 03/08/2014 21:14

How do i get Classics?

OublietteBravo · 03/08/2014 21:18

This one

CuriosityCola · 03/08/2014 21:19

My favourite is the typo thread with the title aibu to rinse my minge Grin

PrincessFiorimonde · 03/08/2014 21:25

Another vote for both the Mexican holiday home Shock and Links are my Nemesis Grin. Actually laughed out loud at the latter.

weatherall · 03/08/2014 21:32

I thought naice ham was a husband being given a shopping list with ham on it and he came back with cheapo savers type ham instead of the organic happy pigs 4 slices for £3 type packs she usually bought?

Hurr1cane · 03/08/2014 21:41

Penis beaker was a beaker of water that someone's husband dipped his penis in after sex to clean it

magoria · 03/08/2014 21:47

Oh god the garlic and the work toilet was hilarious.

EhricLovesTheBhrothers · 03/08/2014 22:00

I think the biscuit is meant to mean no comment isn't it? Or 'your post was so utterly vacuous and puerile that I can't bring myself to comment'. It came after a webchat with Gordon brown when someone asked him what his favourite biscuit was.

dobedobedo · 03/08/2014 22:15

warblingoyster cheers! Off for a read.

Thanks for the other links too!

There was a thread recently about someone worrying about their veg cooking in raw chicken juices that made me howl... If I knew how to link on my phone, I would!

ithoughtofitfirst · 03/08/2014 22:52

I'd completely forgotten about penis beaker. Yum.

I liked middle name for Plato a lot.
