DH has embarrassed me

I didn't think it was possible after my upbringing with sixties, self sufficient, organic, loved up, hippy parents but DH managed today

This morning we cycled to a greasy spoon for breakfast. We sat near another couple who got up and left just as our plates arrived DH looked over at their table and pointed out that they had left all their sausages, next thing I knew he had gone over there and collected up the sausages and deposited them on his plate

Clearly I need to LTB , I'm not unreasonable am I?

DH thought some diners next to us were done with their meal so asked if he could have some! Thankfully their awkward 'er no, not done' cured him. Basically I feel your pain. Otherwise he's a lovely man, sure your DH is too, some habits are mortifying but everyone has faults.

pickled DH would do exactly that with a pair of shoes in a bin and be delighted about it too.

Thankfully he has never actually asked anyone for their left overs, not sure I could live through that
