I am absolutely sure that the other passengers and commuters would only be too delighted to share the maximum volume output of a high-power boom box in the confined space of a tube train in the morning.

They'll be tapping their feet along with you and it would be cracking start to the working day. Anyone that dared to even raise an eyebrow would be a miserable curmudgeon with no sense of fun.

Confused

Only if it's 80's rap music.

SevenZarkSeven · 29/07/2014 21:30

Lol brilliant

I reckon your arm would get really tired. Don't overestimate how heavy they are. You might end up with one developed bicep.

whitepuddingsupper · 29/07/2014 21:35

Bertie is right, why not take up playing the bagpipes instead, they are much lighter and I'm sure your fellow commuters will find them delightful.

TalcAndTurnips · 29/07/2014 21:36

Talking of tube trains, has anyone been on the newer ones where there are no doors between carriages and you can look right down to the other end and watch it all snake about around corners?

They are fecking smart. They make a very cool electric noise too - which might be drowned out by the boom box.

I may have to rethink my previous post in the light of this.

RedorBlack · 29/07/2014 21:43

It's all about the image, as long as you are dressed a la Fame complete with neon leg warmers and add some moves, I reckon you can pull it off Grin

whitepudding - I always find that brass instruments played in a very amateur fashion go down well too with the general public.

All those smiling faces just willing the artiste to push that flat note up a semitone. Infectious enthusiasm can make up for a

I've spent a week down in the big city....

I'm not sure anyone would notice.

Up here In yorkshire we would dance along!
