I think you were well within your rights. You told him off for racist homophobic fatist behaviour.

You were right to call him on it, as you would be in an adult had said the same thing.

That was more than just offensive, it was criminal. The penalties for hate speech include fines and / or imprisonment.

It sounds like the mother is the one who really needs disciplining. You might actually help that boy if you reported this offence on 101. Sounds like he is having a warped upbringing, which could bring him serious trouble later.

I'm so sorry, you must have been very upset/shaken up by such a horrible verbal attack.

I do feel extremely sorry for this child though. I can see why you and others are calling him horrible and 'a little turd' but he's clearly a product of his inadequate upbringing.

Let's aim our anger solely at his mother.
