To ask you to help me name my new horse?!

Exactly that really! She's a pony actually, 13.2hh, New Forest, bay mare. She's arrived with a name I really don't like and because she's comparatively young I'm going to change it.

I need a sweet, soft, gentle name. She's ever so laid back. I can sort of feel the right name hovering in my mind but can't quite grab it!

Any ideas ladies?!

I once knew a horse called Kevin. Anything is better than that -Kevin is no name for a horse.

It's bad luck to rename a horse

Sorry Blush

RonaldMcDonald · 26/07/2014 20:11

I thought that one shouldn't rename a horse
hence why my mare was called Lady

Not bad luck to rename a horse. I renamed mine. He soon learnt his new name (and that I have carrots)

Cockadoodledooo · 26/07/2014 21:06

My childhood bay NF mare was called Sally. She was absolutely adorable. We live here now and I keep seeing 'her' everywhere.

pebbble · 26/07/2014 21:07
