DD2 19 went out with her pals last night for a run in the car. They ended up in an old ruined building a few miles away. It was starting to get dark. Obviously they were fooling about with their ipones taking pictures etc and when she showed me some of them this morning...... OMG in one you can clearly see the outline of a nun in a doorway and in another a mans face very very clearly. I am totally spooked.
AIBU to tell her not to go back there again in case she brings something/someone home with her ????

If you look at the other doors in the nun one there are white blobs at same height. When I looked at it the second time I didn't see a nun just shadows.

They look faked to me and also like completely different places

Think of it this way - are they likely to have gone a drive to a modern nursing home and take a picture? Probably not bit if ghosts are real the likelyhood is that they will see a ghost of some poor bugger who fell asleep watching homes under the hammer last Tuesday

I think the face is just the patterns of the stone on the wall behind the window and the figure is just shadows and the same.

OP either your daughter is ripping the piss out of you or her friends are ripping the piss out of her and she's relaying it to you.

the first picture- you would have to be looking really fucking hard through a microscope to see a face that has been added to the photo. the second one- is just the way the light is hitting something through the doorway. the engine catching fire? mechanical issue. it happens.

ghost aren't real. and if they were? Noel fielding isn't dead.

I'm very much a woo believer & have enough personal experience to be very confident in that belief, regardless of any nay sayers.

BUT, that said, however convinced you & your DD are about these photos - something just doesn't feel right & I don't think you have anything

I can see the face clearly & also what you think is a nun, though to me it looks more shadows & building structure & imagination, than anything supernatural - my "spidey senses" just aren't tingling with these ones & I therefore don't think you have anything supernatural to worry about.

Though having looked at Turbos link, I'd be far more worried about accidents than anything else & would be insisting she stated away for that reason alone

I can see how a face would form looking at the wooden slats in the circular opening above the doorway in the picture that's on the 28DL website. And the nun I also think is just shadowy patterns.

I have to say though, zooming the enlarged photo is quite scary!! It really does look like a ghoulish face.

There is quite a bit on google about it being haunted. Interesting!

Btw, your 19yo DD says she's 21 on her ig and that the picture was taken five weeks ago...

Actually, it looks like a very interesting place BUT I think those pics have been doctored by OP's daughter and her friends to try to freak people out... It's rare to see one ghost, what are the chances of seeing two on the one night and capturing them both on camera?!

Here you go. Easy test by looking at individual channels in photoshop.

You can clearly see it's an added face to the photo, and not just shadows creating a face.
