Poncy cooking instructions

DH & DS are away so I am cooking a delicious meal just for me: One-pan salmon with roast asparagus - sounds nice - nearly cooked - haven't made it before.

The final stage involved "nestling" the salmon into the already-partly-cooked bed of potato & asparagus. I plonked it as I'm drinking wine - will that matter?

I'm not into it, but I love the thought of poncy cooking because it reminds me of Grin

DH and DDs have been out and I've been able to enjoy peace and quite and a tidy house all day

AgentZigzag · 19/07/2014 19:49

Is it me or is it more difficult to deal with other people the noise and mess after you haven't had both for a little while?

BeanyIsPregnant · 19/07/2014 19:50

Yabu, you've clearly destroyed the whole disk.. The only way to rectify this problem is to wolf it down quickly, so no one sees the error of your ways, and buy a take away and more wine Wink

Agent - yes, they will drive me bonkers when they get back - the annual "Daddy Week" is great till it's over Grin

You must post a picture of it on facebook though OP, you'd be brightening other people's dull and monotonous lives Wink

WitchWay · 19/07/2014 19:55

You've surely hoiked that off the net haven't you?

If you haven't it looks dead, dead posh, not a pasty in sight.

On Brownies' Honour, that is an actual picture of my actual dinner, before I actually began to actually eat it.

It's bloody nice actually!

Ha ha! I had something the other day - fish from waitrose and the poncy instructions said to lift it out gently by hand.
