To remove the shower attachment from my bath and strangle my entire family with it?

Again, for the 7464738 time, I've been drowned by the shower head! Full in the face from the bottom of the tub! Its attached to the tap and has a knob that is used to select tap or shower. Tap is the default position!
The bastarding bastards leave it set to shower every time. I'm sure they do it on purpose!
No court I the land would convict me, surely!

Are you sure tap is the default position? Sounds like in your house, shower is, and you need to catch on...

I don't think it would work to strangle them all at once, so you'd have to do it one at a time, which would give some of em time to run away.

In which case, judicious application of superglue would probably be a less illegal solution, unless you are likely to want a shower at any point ever in the future. Could you attach a sign to the back of the bathroom door that says 'Stop - have you switched the knob back to bath?!' - it will remind your family and give something for guests to wonder at...

Throttle them all with a hose pipe then enjoy your bath/ shower in peace.

After that many time you should have some awareness that this will happen.

ours doesn't go back to 'tap' when trying to save water and using little water pressure.
only when dh showers on full blast and flooding the whole room does this hapen

I could strangle them individually in their sleep. there's DP and 2 teens. I could stash them all down the skeptic tank. No need for a funeral!
What really pisses me off bothers me, is that because our boiler doesn't like the build up of pressure they aren't meant to use the shower anyway! DP will be first to complain when it goes wrong.

I think killing is perhaps too harsh for now. Could you waterboard them with said attachment and give them the opportunity to really think about what they've done?
