I always feel insecure and less confidant a few days before my period....

Does anyone else feel like this? Feel like I want to hide away and not talk to anyone. My self confidence goes right down,it seems to happen each month before I start,I assume it's to do with hormones!!

I become an emotional mess...today has been very teary so much so my eyes are swollen. Everything is just harder a few days before menstruation. I have to remind myself that'll it will pass soon.

Hate it though, hate feeling out of control

That was me too until I was 40 and got the mirena coil. I know others have hated them but it's been a godsend to me. No mood swings and no periods.

I go from bat shit crazy to weeping over nothing dp & dc know just to avoid me like the plague!

It's nice to know I'm not alone!!

I could have written this! Period due in a few days, we are moving house while our house is being renovated, children are playing up, work is rotten. I feel exhausted, and tearful.

It's usually a whole week to 10 days of this for me. It ends a day or two before my period. I'm paranoid and vulnerable for a third of the month. It's awful. I remind myself when heading in to work not to over disclose as well - it's not great telling everyone you're vulnerable and checking out paranoid ideas with them!

Yes though if you are more teary & withdrawn than average, The fact that you want to shut off from the world You may be one of the Women who suffer with PMDD My sister changes drastically we do not see her , She gets headaches cant bear to even talk on the phone :(
