When you are really hungry and want a proper meal rather than just a snack, what is your default craving?

Mine is curry and rice. The curry would have lamb and chickpeas, the rice would be spiced and have mushrooms and vegetables (but no okra!), there would be coriander and raita.

I reckon I could happily eat that most days of the week.

Why don't you want it emerged after 3 months? How odd. Why does it matter?

gertiegusset · 09/07/2014 21:19

We just had my favourite.
Layers of potatoes with tons of garlic, course ground black pepper and double cream baked in the oven for about an hour and a bit.
Fried courgettes with garlic.
And a big fat steak.

PedlarsSpanner · 09/07/2014 21:19

Lamb passanda and pilau rice

I could eat that every day

OwlCapone · 09/07/2014 21:19

You could have used the "other subjects" topic which would have kept the thread police happy.

I think fish and chips is my go to comfort food.

Mintyy · 09/07/2014 21:19

Well, I don't want it emerged after 3 months at all Smile

Mintyy · 09/07/2014 21:21

Roast lamb with chunks of garlic stuffed under the skin and rubbed with olive oil and salt.
Lamb is my most favourite meat.

Mintyy · 09/07/2014 21:23

Gertie! stop it.

OP posts:
gertiegusset · 09/07/2014 21:24

Think we may have to have roast lamb on Sunday, haven't had it for ages.
Why stop it, you asked! Grin

ginslinger · 09/07/2014 21:26

SconeRhymesWithGone · 09/07/2014 21:27

FatalCabbage · 09/07/2014 21:27

Shit, I thought this was a spinoff. I was channelling Maryz...

gertiegusset · 09/07/2014 21:28

I love fish too but never really know how to cook it so apart from fish pie (easy) and baked salmon I rarely cook it and usually have fish if we go out.

shockinglybadteacher · 09/07/2014 21:31

Chicken karaage ramen. I put on about 2 stone eating that stuff.

RiverTam · 09/07/2014 21:34

penne arrabbiata. I could (and indeed have done in the past) eat it every day.

fatlazymummy · 09/07/2014 21:47

My favourite meal is crusty multi seeded brown bread, Stilton cheese and caramelised red onion chutney, with some nice cherries or strawberries for afters.
I'm not that keen on hot meals.
