Just that really, watching 'Say yes to the dress' and there's a whole family in tears because she found the dress. Is this usual?

I did cry when I had my final dress fitting. I'm quite an unsentimental person, and definitely never been princessy. We'd had to bring our wedding forward as my DM was diagnosed with something that could have killed her at any moment. The final fitting was a week before the wedding, so I was crying with happiness to think she would make it to the ceremony. (Happy ending, she received an amazing experimental treatment and is still alive, and I hope will be with us for my 20th wedding anniversary soon!)

'It's all that princess shit'

Bread and Circuses

Ah brilliant. Why don't I meet people like this in real life?
