Juice plus diet

Has anyone tried it, heard a lot of positives about it, but then everyone seems to be a rep so not sure how reliable the comments are

the only thing you will lose is money with a fad like juice plus - just eat proper, healthy food and exercise more.

I'm starting to think I am going to have to 'defriend' from my FB the lovely lady that helped me keep it together when we were both stuck in hospital for months waiting to have our DC.

She's gone from posting things about her family to two types of post - one about how wonderful juice plus is and the other defending it to 'haterz' of MLM schemes.

She's boring the tits off me and making cash out of her friends. I don't think I like her any more Sad

(but part of me thinks I should keep her just to see how long the fad lasts and how quickly the weight goes back on - evil)

Someone I know is a juice plus rep. All her posts rabbit on about how wonderful juice plus is. She just posted a pic of her at a wedding at the weekend. She's still HUGE. I don't mean that unlikely because lord knows I need to lose a lot of weight but she's got to be a size 20 (at least) and she is pretending juice plus is miraculous. I don't think so love.

Elvenbread, I wonder if we know the same person. Constantly raving about the benefits of JP and trying to sell to get friends after she became a rep after her first week on it, but oddly, the posts of how much weight she is losing stopped some time ago... She was also at a wedding this weekend.

It's against fb terms for ppl to use personal profiles for profit making, they're supposed to create a business page, and then fb doesn't take kindly to page owners tagging people in photos, asking others to tag or even share.

I've been tagged at least twice a day every day for about 8 days, and I have restrictions for tagging on my account, so needless to say in not happy!

OP unless you know of someone first hand that it has worked for then I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole!

Yup two people I know have been witteding on about JP for months now, both quite overweight.

Its boring, its crap and the mean side of me is looking forward to when theh fall back down to earth and see what all of us see. That its bullshit.

You will definitely lose weight on it. Only because of the calorie deficit tho. You could just easy less and do as well. That's how I see all of these schemes.

I did a clean 9. I lost 11lbs. I was ecstatic but I'm fairly certain I'd have lost the same if I only had 1000 liquid calories (let's say slim fast or protein powder) for two days and two shakes and one 600 calorie meal for 7 days and saved the money!

IMO any 'diet' that doesn't involve actual food isn't healthy.

DH's cousin's wife is a rep and posts about it constantly. Tbf she has lost weight and looks great but, given that JP, coincided with her becoming teetotal, eating more healthily and exercising more I can't see what she gained from it.

She keeps going on about the gold standard research undertaken. If you do any proper looking into this is pretty shaky.

I find it unutterably boring.

There is obviously money in it as someone I know has given up her job where she earnt £20k plus to do JP full time. She has also just bought a brand new Mercedes 4x4 Confused She is quite high up the chain though!

I haven't seen anyone lose any significant weight on it. I would have expected them to having restricted their calorie intake so much.

I enjoy a glass of fresh juice but wouldn't use it as a meal replacement as I don't believe it's healthy.
Raw juice has a high glycemic index which is going to spike your blood sugars - exactly what you don't want when on a diet.

Spooky - imo, there is always money to be made from other people's desperation and willingness to believe in the latest 'miracle' :(

My cousins a rep.

It causes much eyeball rolling as she tries to foist her overpriced wares in members of the family who can't actually afford it.

It's not a miracle, I am pretty sure if I drank nothing but fluids that were way under my calorific intake for a couple of weeks I'd lose weight too.

Fad fad fad. And unhealthy.

Do Slimming World instead. Low fat, low sugar, loads of fresh fruit & veg and lean meat. Nornal, healthy food, no gimmicks or sales bullshit.

Can't bear these MLM twats. My friend does It with another company and all the posts are about recruiting other sellers, not about selling the stuff.

I'm half someone's said this as I'm getting pissed off with a friend too. She's lovely, and has actually lost shit loads of weight (from the pics) but she's going to the gym daily, hardly eating carbs and generally being very healthy. She's saying the capsules give her tons of energy to be able to go to the gym, but I feel as though it would happen anyway without JP

Her statuses are annoying now though - "I'm so pleased I quit my job to spend more time with DS, work in my own time" or "look at me working in the sun, no pressure, helping lonely people fulfil their dreams, JP all the way "

I know just eat more fruit and veg and exercise more, but it isn't always possible I do eat quite a bit of fruit and veg but as I work away quite a bit a times I don't have access to prepare fresh sometimes I leave the house at 5 am so I tend to pick up quick fixes because even though I do prepare food by the time I come to eat it it's limp, warm and awful after being in car.

Over the last 12 months I've gained just over 2 stone and feel dreadful I just thought this might at least give me a little help in the right direction

Oh god I'm so sick of it too. The person who is a rep on my FB page always puts ridiculous statements like 'lost another 5lb this week!' but funnily enough absolutely no photos. There should be nothing left of her by now.

She should infact just be a tiny juice plus tablet at this rate.

No name honestly it isn't as hard as you think. It's all about calories.

A man ate 1000 calories of pizza and the weight fell off him. Maybe not as fast as fruit n veg but fast nonetheless.

When I'm in a rush I buy prepared salad and some prepared chicken. Easy!
