if they got rid of the bikes and cyclists and just concentrated on the lovely Yorkshire countryside?

What - and miss out on all those lovely athletic arses clad in tight Lycra? YABVU! Grin

I know... And they barely bother mentioning who is who & where they are in the pack. Really annoying, especially all the long countryside shots.

Nice to see Yorkshire from the air, but I actually tuned I. To see the cycling!

YANBU.

I still dont understand why something called the tour de FRANCE is partly held in England.

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 05/07/2014 16:20

I do love the TdF!

BadRoly · 05/07/2014 16:21

I think it could be improved by less inane rambling...

In recent years the Tour has started outside France on a number of occasions, so more people get the chance to see this amazing sporting event in their own country - I think that is an amazing thing.

This also happens with the other two major Tours - the Vuelta a Espana has started outside Spain twice, and the Giro D'Italia has started outside Italy 10 times since '65, including three stages in Ireland this year.
