I am just wondering how many other people here have had their year 10 teenager selected for this survey which started last year. They get £10 if they will do it.
I allowed my son to participate last year after repeated pestering by an NOP interviewer who simply kept coming back until he got an interview. Fair enough I made excuses each when I should have just said no outright.
The questions are so intrusive. Last time I was asked about who else was in the house, my job, my earnings and benefits. Worse still how many relationships I've had since my son was born. Fucking cheek! I accept the interviewer doesn't write the survey, the Dept of Education must do but I still refused to answer them.
Now I have an interviewer pestering me again. Recently I wouldn't answer questions about who else is in the household but she says I have to or she can't go on with the rest of the interview saying she'd come back when I'd had time to think about it. I came home last night to find her talking to my partner to get this information and promptly threw her out. She said she'd come back when I have had time to talk about this with my son and his dad.
What's the matter with these people? Don't they give up? My son doesn't really even want to do it, although I have told him he can't keep the voucher (sent in advance) if we don't participate.
