to expect my dp to replace the broken tile on top of bangalow

We havea broken tile on top of bungalow that is causing a drip.

Its a 45 degree angle and can easily get on the roof.

Dp doesn't want to fix it but yet also doesn't want to pay the 100 to call someone out for the 5 mine job.

Aibu to expect him to either do it or pay someone. Keeps saying a certain friend will do it, but he hasn't been round in months

Why wait then - just get it sorted. Will be cheaper in the long run getting it sorted now rather than waiting for other damage to occur. Why do you need to wait for DP to arrange it?

if you wouldn't do it yourself then you are BU to expect him to do it. why do you need him to deal with it? surely your an able bodied woman capable of calling someone out?

Just you organise to get it fixed He is probably scared to do it.

I think that if he is unwilling to fix it then yes, he should be willing for the two of you to pay to have it fixed. I would just say 'If you're going to fix it please can you have it fixed by 9am Monday morning because it's not fixed I'm going to call somebody to come and do it."

That way he has all weekend to do it, or get his friend to do it. If he doesn't fix it over the weekend then YWNBU to call somebody to come and do it.
