Another child maintenance one....children who live with dads

After reading the child maintenance titles below I just wanted to throw another one into the mix. My dsd loves with her dad and me. When she lived with her mum dh paid maintenance, had her 50% of time and she had bedroom , toys, clothes etc at our house. Now she lives with us....no maintenance, no help from mum, her mum sees her twice a month, she has nothing at her mums house...the reason..'I don't get the child benefit so I'm not paying for anything'

I am being unreasonable to get annoyed when most posts blame the dad, I know it is more common for the Nrp to be the dad, but I wish more people would use the term Nrp and highlight that it works the other way as well!

Your dp/dh needs to go to the CSA, or new equivalent.

I can't understand how a woman can have a child and give up that child just because she isn't being paid maintenance .

well they aren't 'blaming the dad' are they, they are complaining about the NRP not paying maintenance ... as are you.

Shitty parents can be either/both men and women.

Obviously this is Mumsnet, so as a result there are more women posting about the issues in their life, no-one in their right mind would come and post on here as a mother not paying maintenance or bothering with their child as they're not being paid to.

Your dp does need to put a claim in.

That poor girl! I hope her dad can offset the harm having a shitty mother.
