to not take anymore bullshit lies from the ASDA Direct 'customer service' rep

I am loosing my rag here - I know, I know, not very nice, not her fault etc but I am on about my 8th call to ASDA and they still have my fucking money!

No one there knows what the fuck they are doing, although they are the most polite customer service reps I've had the displeasure of ever needing but fuck me I'm angry.

I bought something in April, it was damaged, they promised to send out a replacement after about a month I said just give me my money back, they collected the damaged goods extremely quickly but now they can't tell me when the money will be returned (or if it's been returned back to their warehouse).

AIBU to be raging at this lady? And if so how the fuck do I get my money back? I've tried nice, I've tried understanding and I've even tried stern but now I'm trying absolutely-fucking-pissed-right-off-you-utter-lying-bastards...

I've asked a few times to speak to a manager but they keep telling me that's not possible, that there's no one there.

I'm now on hold while she calls the warehouse (after the last one told me they couldn't call only email)

Worra Trading Standards will definitely be my next call. They have just lied every single time I've called and stupidly I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt.

so after 40+ minutes they said the money will be returned in 24-48 hours even though the product hasn't been returned to the warehouse but they can see it was collected a few weeks ago.

I'll believe it when I see it Hmm

If it does come through it's a shame it takes an absolute bollocking to get it done [slightly embarrassed by very aggressive outburst on the phone]

If it doesn't come through I'm going to have to let DH handle it. He does bollocking while remaining calm in an amazing way - wish I had that ability!

Did you pay on your credit card? If so, call the card company and get them to dispute the payment.

Yes I did ooerr, but it was on my Aussie one and it's a pain to get to speak with them (with the time difference) so I'd just bloody rather ASDA give me my money back!

Stop calling them.

Write to them, quote SoG Act at them and demand money is repaid to you within 7 days or you will take it further with Trading Standards etc etc etc.

Now I'm having flashbacks to my own time with Tesco's "customer service" liars and my blood is boiling!!
