Perhaps I am...but where are they now?

Come hither lamented playmates and fill my heart with joy and laughter.

I actually wrote that song but it was nicked off me.

Fuckers.

Happy birthday Cake

Mytholmroyd · 22/06/2014 15:45

I have a lovely moist date and walnut or Thomas's yummy Yorkshire Brack to choose from - can't decide. Actually, there is no-one else here to care - I can have both! Thank goodness for cricket.

RustyBear · 22/06/2014 15:52

Wilkos in Reading have sugru - two tiny 5g packs for £5, but only in black or white.

Earlybird · 22/06/2014 16:03

Hello, hello, hello

Oldie of 10+ years checking in....easy to keep up me with as not a name-changer.

Good to see some of the old familiar names/personalities. I'm not here much anymore, and rarely post. Took me ages to re-register after the security breach. When I'm around, seem to mostly press the 'delete thread' button.

How to find the MN twitter thing-y? Though not a twitter-er, would be fun to see what goes on there.....

Hullygully · 22/06/2014 17:16

happy birthday, dance and be joyous and sing hallelujah

I still think it was fantastically mean of MNHQ to ban me for a week the day before my 50th birthday.

MEAN! I only called someone a cunt because, well, I was to grumpy to find a guidelines way of saying it.

I might have said it a couple of times.

BUT FFS! it was my 50th the next day!

Stratter5 · 22/06/2014 17:33

Mwah! Happy birthday, lovely MrsV Wine Cake

MadameDefarge · 22/06/2014 17:36

eek! sorry for my narcissistic moment!

Happy Happy Birthday MrsV!

Sybilvimes · 22/06/2014 17:44

Does this mean the Hall is re-opening? Because I may need to find the naked Hugh Jackman photo if so.

MadameDefarge · 22/06/2014 17:47

Open and ready for business.

I am sadly sighing over my delicious duck farcie I made for supper last night.

Clearly Madame Grape kidnapped all the young ladies and took them off for a vigorous cotillon at the local assembly rooms.

The lure of a scarlet jacket wins every time over lovingly prepared duck.

HoneyDragon · 22/06/2014 18:20

I still think Mumsnet were mean not to let me keep my topic. It would have been a fabulous colony away from all the nonsense filled with pard and happiness and the occasional bunfight.

We'd probably be raising our 3rd generation of newbies by now ....

Sad
MadameDefarge · 22/06/2014 18:25

I think we need to do a pard topic anyway. AIBU (Pard guidelines) all posters breaking the PARD guildines to be ignored utterly.

marvellous idea. all for it.

RandallFloyd · 22/06/2014 18:54

A PARD topic would be lovely wouldn't it?
The rules would be so lovely and simple, just 'don't be a twat'.

And then if any of us were accidentally twatty we could just say 'oi, stop being a twat' and they could say 'oops, soz' and we could all continue about our business.

BIWI · 22/06/2014 19:13

Happy birthday MrsV

ginslinger · 22/06/2014 22:15

I'm always up or PARD

ExitPursuedByAKoalaBear · 22/06/2014 22:21

Oh er missus

SaggyAndLucy · 22/06/2014 22:59

maybe if we start threads we should put PARD in the title. it'd be like a signal for other naice people! Wink

GarlicJuneBlooms · 23/06/2014 00:19

Great idea, Saggy! It will be as warmly accepted as has become, I'm sure ... umm, fairly sure ... er, might be worth a try anyway ...

Monty27 · 23/06/2014 01:37

Hi Mintyy I still haven't moved too scared Grin

How are you :)

Mintyy · 23/06/2014 08:41

Hello Monty dear. We haven't moved either cba with the faff of it all but I still dream of being transported up to Crystal Palace.

Hullygully · 23/06/2014 11:41

yy crystal palace v nice.

I was up that central London at the w/e. It was strange, I loved living there, but I don't think I could now, and I didn't think I'd feel like that ever.

Might just be too many tourists.

Also, nothing but rows of bars and restaurants and thousands and thousands of antlike humans swarming in and out...to what end?

Eh, I ask you?

SpringHeeledJack · 23/06/2014 13:07

Hully. I hear there is a well trod path from Brockley/Lewisham etc down to your neck of the woods. We lost DD's bestie to the seaside at Christmas and there is still much GLOOM about it

Monty weren't you Penge/Pahnge?

and Mintyy why on ERF would you need to move? Nowhere would be nicer than where you are, shorely?

Mintyy · 23/06/2014 13:34

Springy dear hello! We want 4 beds and 2 loos. Can't afford it in this neck of the woods - would cost us another £200/£300,000 Shock.
