Maryz I have been lurking on and off for months but I forced myself to de-reg so I couldn't post. I just stood outside with my face pressed to the window like a sad Victorian shoeless orphan outside a sweet shop full of spoilt rich children getting fat on humbugs without me.

But now I'm here again. So that's good.

I have to say though, the sweet shop shelves have mostly been bare, or full of stuff I don't care for, which has made it rather easy for me on the whole.

I've been thinking about what I said about posters not being so awful in the past and I think what I meant was tht posters tended to be less mean spirited. Sure there was bitching and the whole Moldiegate, but generally people weren't up for a fight from the word go. I've lost count of te post where posters are just downright mean and i despair for what it must be like to know them

There's no team spirit left. In the past, you could lark about, take the piss, rib the trolls. Now, the site is full of mean spiritedness; those little, under the surface Po digs, that if you respond to you get a slap.

The good humour has gone, and been replaced with a smug self righteousness, that doesn't sit well on a parenting site.
