To fancy Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish sooooo much more than Jon Snow?

I've just been catching up on the last few episodes of GoT and I've got to say out of all the hunks on offer I fancy Lord Baelish the most..

Is this weird? Most of my friends fall firmly into the Jon Snow or Jamie Lannister camp.

At first for me it was Robb stark, then I moved onto Jon Snow (you don't need to tell me I'm fickle I already know ha) so I'm hoping I'm not the only one..

Anyone else find Danaerys brother absolutely terrifying? Camp and barking mad is a scary combination.

JoffreyBaratheon · 17/06/2014 22:28

dementedma, I only wish that actor had been in a bit longer though - very compelling. He's a descendant of Charles Dickens - has the same intensity Dickens is supposed to have had, when acting/doing his public readings!

Stannis, yesterday's episode... I so would.

BeeBlanket · 17/06/2014 22:57

Oh I love Brienne/Gwendoline too. She is just mesmerising whenever she's on... last night's fight was Shock

UsedtobeFeckless · 17/06/2014 23:03

She's great - and I love her and Pod together. Priceless! And she belted seven shades out of the I'm-so-hard-Hound!

BeeBlanket · 17/06/2014 23:10

You know what else I love... that Brienne really is incredibly tall, unfeminine and awkward (though Gwendoline herself far more glam obviously). So many TV shows would have toned her down and made her basically a slightly tall but perfectly proportioned and pouting kick-ass babe. Instead she comes over as so unique and real.

CharlesRyder · 17/06/2014 23:18

Shag: Littlefinger (YY you NEED to watch Queer as Folk)
Mary: Brienne, Ned (but Ned would drive me to Mumsnet), Tyrion, maybe even Tywen.
Avoid: Jamie, Robb, Theon

IdaClair · 17/06/2014 23:31

The actor who played Khal Drogo has had facial reconstructive surgery after being assaulted.

No one has mentioned Jojen Reed. Which is probably because he is supposed to be a child but in reality he is 24

WeirdCatLady · 18/06/2014 07:15

I don't fancy him but I'd have to give Pod a try, just to see what his special gift was hehehe

UsedtobeFeckless · 18/06/2014 09:28

Actually Pod might be a bit of a treasure! Does anyone remember when Bronn took him to Littlefinger's house of ill-repute and the ladies were surprisingly keen on him and gave him the night for free? I think he's got hidden depths Grin ( I know, I know, I'll get my anorack ... )

fifi669 · 18/06/2014 10:03

Jojen Reed still looks like a child though.... Ewwww. I wonder if he has problems dating in RL?

BeeBlanket · 18/06/2014 11:45

Harsh! I love Thomas Brodie Sangster. OK he is a bit young looking for me but he is Ferb in Phineas and Ferb, and can do no wrong. :)

Canidae · 18/06/2014 15:04

Shag - Jaime
Marry- Jaime
Avoid - Cersei, she is not getting Jaime back!!

HouseBaelish · 18/06/2014 15:18

Actually I might add Viserys to the list. He was clearly as mad as a box of frogs but very handsome chap

SmashleyHop · 18/06/2014 15:33

I love this thread..

Drogo is my sun and my stars. Jaime does it for me in the sense that he goes to great lengths for love.. which is both frightening and sexy.

Jon Snurr is so lovingly broody. Just want to bury my face in his hair! Robb never ticked my radar which is not to say he isn't good looking, just seemed a bit childish. Sir Jorah ticks my older man fix tied with Ned Stark. I can't believe Dany turned him away.

Now if we are talking pure crazy sex with no strings.. Ramsay all the way.

Girl crushes on Brienne and Dany. Gwen is gorgeous and she is so authentic as Brienne. The fight scene with the Hound was the best I've seen on the show.

SlowlorisIncognito · 18/06/2014 21:18

YABU because in the books, Littlefinger is basically a pedophile.

I agree there is something quite compelling about Jaime, especially his intensity, but unfortunately he will probably only ever love Cersei. Harry Lloyd (Viserys) is gorgeous but of course his character was deranged.

I'm probably alone in liking book!Sandor more than show!Sandor, they aged him up too much for me.

dementedma · 18/06/2014 21:23

viserys actually terrified me more than The Hound or other typical scary characters.

JoffreyBaratheon · 19/06/2014 09:39

Viserys has one of the best deaths, though.

UsedtobeFeckless · 19/06/2014 09:43

Absolutely! I love a good come-uppance! Grin

Thurlow · 19/06/2014 11:48

Have finally caught up with the last episode. I am sad to see Tywin go (though disappointed that they left out the best line in all 5 books - "But the stink that filled the privy gave ample evidence that the oft-repeated jape about his father was just another lie. Lord Tywin Lannister did not, in the end, shit gold" Grin) as, for an older man, Charles Dance very much still had it going on.

However it has confirmed that fact that I would do utterly, utterly filthy things to Stannis.

If ever a man looked in need of a good shag, it's Stannis.

Lovecat · 19/06/2014 12:20

I came late to the tv series and was wondering what all the fuss about Stannis was over, as he's a complete mardy get in the books.

Then I caught up with the tv show and as he came striding through the mists on Monday night.... oooer.... Blush

I'd still do Jaime. And Oberyn. And Drogo. And that nice male prostitute Olyver... ooer again.

How anyone can fancy Alfie Allen is beyond me, even before he was Reek he had a face only a mother could love...

squoosh · 19/06/2014 12:21

Alfie Allen has weird fish eyes.

Thurlow · 19/06/2014 12:24

I can't help it but when I see the younger characters like Jon and Robb striding around waving a sword it looks like they've just legged it out of the nursery. But when the older characters like Stannis, Roose Bolton and Jorah Mormont do it, it's a bit sodding hot. Older men look much better waving a sword around All sort of "hello, your grace, shall I just drop my knickers now?"...

It does make reading the books a lot more entertaining when I'm picturing Stephen Dillane stomping about, that's for sure.

mymoonandstars · 19/06/2014 12:26

YANBU! If I were Sansa, Id be all over that Littlefinger!!!

fifi669 · 19/06/2014 13:12

Maybe little finger= little willy?

OnIlkelyMoorBahtat · 21/06/2014 15:26

Jon Snow for me. No, Jorah Mormont. No, Tyrion. No, Tywin. No wait actually, it's Stannis. No hang on, it's Bronn. But then, mmm, Khal Drogo. But then again, mmm, Littlefinger...

Never has so much totty been gathered together in one programme!
