I cannot find my thread I started.

"Aibu to refuse to be induced"

I just wanted to say thankyou to everyone who posted their knowledge, experiences and advice on my thread I posted last Sunday, I never came back to the thread as I ended up being induced and I had my beautiful baby girl :)

I know how irritating it is when you spend time replying to an OP and then they just vanish Grin

So, thankyou Flowers

MagicMojito · 15/06/2014 14:53

... and almost immediately began having contractions, after 2 sweeps and 3 days of contractions starting and stopping I decided to just go for induction.

Luckily ended up with a 6 hour labour, no intervensions, good big dose of diamorphine and not even a stitch Grin

All that time worrying over nothing. Luck seems to have been on my side! :)

Lovely, so glad all went well for you. I didn't post on your thread - having nothing useful to contribute - but I did read it.

Congratulations and well done. Grin

Aww, that's great and congratulations. I think I posted on your thread (I was similarly terrified and had a lovely induction with DS1).

With all the horror stories people hear, I think it's great to show that it can go well Smile

softlysoftly · 15/06/2014 15:51

Hurray congratulations! Thanks for updating.

KeepOnPloddingOn · 15/06/2014 15:58

MagicMojito · 15/06/2014 16:02

I've been meaning to post sooner, but its a bit of a shocker going from 1 to 2 Grin Shock

I ended up googleing good induction stories and found two lovely threads from mumsnet, from 4 years ago! It was actually really comforting reading whilst on the induction ward, not a horror story in sight!
