To stop cleaning the bathroom....

...and see how long before anyone notices? Am sick to death of being the only one in a household of five who does it. Regular arguments and things improve for a short while then back to me doing it. I cannot stand a dirty bathroom.
Not a massive problem in the grand scheme of things but have the absolute rage today about it. Angry

The problem is that you will snap first. No one else will notice. So you will end up doing it any way.

Seeing as it will be a week or two before it is visibly dirty and much longer than that before anyone else cares, assuming that you are referring to a male partner and DCs of either gender, can you wait that long?

How often do you normally clean it?

Do they do other jobs? The bathroom could be your job and the others do the vacuuming, dusting, washing etc (obviously based on being old enough to take part).

Perhaps 'forget' to do their washing if you normally do it, or make sure you don't do other things that benefit them, like making packed lunches, ironing, etc.

You will never wait long enough. You'll just HAVE to do it. And no-one will notice if it's dirty or clean.

You could always stop cooking any meals until someone else DOES clean the bathroom Grin

No one will notice and no one will care.

Bathroom cleaning here consists of wiping the sink for visitors. The world doesn't end.

Nocomet · 14/06/2014 15:53

Honestly, bathroom cleaning is a chore I don't get. Our bathroom is so tiny and so cluttered there is nothing to clean.

BeanyIsPregnant · 14/06/2014 16:03

I had that thought about 2 months ago..... It hasent been mentioned at all in that time....

I cleaned it today

AlpacaPicnic · 14/06/2014 23:05

I'm not going to clean mine anymore... But I'm having it remodelled soon so I don't see the point!

The new one will be super shiny!

Fighting a losing battle I guess.

I'm the bathroom cleaner here, too. I like it though, it smells nice.

LynetteScavo · 14/06/2014 23:18

I tried this.

No one will notice or care.

I had a terrible pregnancy with DC3 hyperemesis and SPD followed by colicky velcro baby then unexpected pregnancy when he was 7 months, investigations for breast cancer then the horror of newborn and 16 month old.
Apart from shoving bleach down the toilets in the evening and swishing water around the sink when I did my teeth, I didn't do my bathrooms properly in around 2 years.
No-one except me in my household of 6 batted an eyelid.
