Skid marks in boxers, completely avoidable or a fact of life

tallulahturtle · 13/06/2014 15:59

I need cheering up, a crazy lady crashed into me on a roundabout this morning at 9.30 and im still constantly on the phone to insurers etc trying to sort it all out.

Anyway yes skid marks. Does anyone else's husband etc produce skid-marked boxers.

Is it a man thing?

Is it laziness?

Have you ever skid-marked ?

YolandiFuckinVisser · 13/06/2014 23:42

AnnaLegovah · 13/06/2014 23:45

Phew its not just me bumwad!

AnnieLobeseder · 13/06/2014 23:56

avianaz - he smeared his shit on your bed, and then refused to clean it?!?! Who the fuck did he expect to clean up after him? You, I imagine. Shock

I'm pleased to hear he's now an ex.

But fuck me, I never cease to me amazed by the level of (literal) shit women are prepared to put up with from their men. For the love of god, WHY?!

noneofyours · 14/06/2014 00:10

They can happen. DH and my ex-housemate and best friend get them occasionally. Both have bad IBS and tummy troubles and have been caught short or had leakage.

DH just rinses his pants and throws them straight in the washing machine, the same as I used to tell best friend to do. If i see pants in there, I don't ask I just wash. With my friend it would either be leakage or heavy discharge- either way if pants are in the machine, they just got washed- not taken out.

They can happen, especially if a man has a really really hairy arse crack. It can hurt them to wipe vigorously which, given all the hair, they need to do. Wet wipes work better, I have some by the bathroom in case anyone needs.

TheIronGnome · 14/06/2014 00:18

It's all about the andrex moist toilet tissue!

avianaz · 14/06/2014 01:04

LMAO Anna!! I think I love you! :L

avianaz · 14/06/2014 01:05

Oh and yes I had to clean it! He watched!!!!!

My family + friends were downstairs drinking and waiting on me coming down!

deakymom · 14/06/2014 01:46

shit happens Grin my dh uses half the loo roll and still got them because he used the wrong size pants they creep up the crack and you will get a little there no matter what people say Hmm needless to say he is now well fitted and skidless

PrincessBabyCat · 14/06/2014 02:06

No. My husband is a grown ass man who wipes his ass. Hmm

GarlicJuneBlooms · 14/06/2014 02:09

Anna, I thought I was the only person in the world who does three-flush poos!

Singsongmama · 14/06/2014 06:32

Captain, there are Klingons on the starboard bow.

This thread is both hilarious and so gross.

And for the record, no my DH doesn't nonchalantly shirt his pants.

LongTimeLurking · 14/06/2014 06:44

Only time any amount of shit on underwear is acceptable is if you have a stomach bug and get caught short or have some other kind of health problem like crohn's or IBS.... and even then it shouldn't be a regular thing.

YANBU, totally disgusting your DH needs to clean himself better.

LettertoHerms · 14/06/2014 06:58

This thread is shocking.

But now I have to ask... I thought all men wiped back to front? How do men wipe? I know women (hopefully) always wipe front to back, avoid UTIs or any other hygiene issue, but I figured men wiped back to front. Does it actually vary man to man?

I mean, when you change a baby boy's nappy, it's easier to wipe back to front. I kind of figured adult men did the same.

itsbetterthanabox · 14/06/2014 07:49

It's very hairy bum cracks combined with scratching their bums. That's what gets marks on the pants. Wet wipes are the way forward!

MyNewNormal · 14/06/2014 09:55

OP you said your DH produces skid marks just once a year or so, likely when he has an itchy bum. So not a thing to get all fussed about. Just ask him to check his pants and rinse them out himself.

I've never noticed skid marks in my DH's pants but then again he might be rinsing if he does; besides, he does his fair share of the laundry.

tallulahturtle · 14/06/2014 21:17

Yes it is not often. I was just putting it out there to see how common it is. As i never produce skid marks and when i see them he just shrugs and says they happen, its normal.

tallulahturtle · 14/06/2014 21:20

He has never left skid marks on towels in in the bed. Thank God!!!

As they say, worse things happen at sea

NoArmaniNoPunani · 14/06/2014 21:27

If men wipe back to front won't they risk poo on their balls?

JamJimJam · 14/06/2014 21:28

OMG not normal.

Roundedbuttocks90 · 14/06/2014 22:44

My DH leaves skids in his boxers too. Yes it is complete laziness and there's no excuse for a grown man to have a shitty arse. Makes me bork!

Hakluyt · 14/06/2014 22:58

I really want to know- and not know simultaneously- how an itchy bum produces pooy pants.

But more importantly, why would anyone expect the person they loved and respected to wash their pooy pants? I just can't get my head round that idea.

xvxvxvxvxvxvxvxv · 15/06/2014 14:06

Gross. Tell him to wipe properly. And buy him some pant liners until he learns.
