I'm working from home today (day off really but have a pile of paperwork to catch up on.DH has just come home early come to the study to see what I'm doing. I explained how much I've got to do and why. He then suggestively asked what w could do to fill in the 20 mins before school bus arrives at which point I snapped "do all the work I've just told you about". He's off now with tail between his legs and I feel a bit mean but come on, TAKE A HINT. WIBU? And AIBU to now be wasting what time's left on MN?Grin

BolshierAyraStark · 12/06/2014 15:42

Afternoon quicky V paperwork? YABU

Chattymummyhere · 12/06/2014 15:45

Yabu

Paperwork can wait always time for a quick one when the kids are not about.

Gileswithachainsaw · 12/06/2014 15:47

Yanbu. Quickies do nothing fir me, it's all about the guy getting his.

He can wait til later :o

trikken · 12/06/2014 15:49

Hmm see both sides. I get annoyed when I'm clearly very busy and so not in the mood, but other times its nice just to stop what im doing for 20mins or so to have time together whilst no kids about.

deakymom · 12/06/2014 15:58

its too hot you will get sweaty and stink for the school run?

Objection · 12/06/2014 15:58

I'm not really a quickie person either. Nothing appealing about getting hot, sticky and messy - especially when there is other stuff to do oh the romance

deakymom · 12/06/2014 15:59

tell him it should take longer than 20 minutes anyway he is short changing you Grin

DrFunkesFamilyBandSolution · 12/06/2014 16:00

Yabu.

I wouldn't chose mumsnetting, sorry 'paperwork' over a quickie!

crispyporkbelly · 12/06/2014 16:31

Yabu!

Gileswithachainsaw · 12/06/2014 16:33

Why is she BU. Should she have sex regardless of whether she wants to or not just because her husband decides he's up for it?

Tapirbackrider · 12/06/2014 17:52

YANBU

rookiemater · 12/06/2014 17:58

YANBU, but I guess he is not being unreasonable to suggest it.

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 12/06/2014 18:17

Saying that you have stuff to do, YWNBU.
Making DH wish he hadn't suggested it YWB a bit snarly.
Secretly spending time on MN instead, ooh sneaky.

Fideliney · 12/06/2014 18:33

Oh is unreasonable to snap at DHs?

LittleprincessinGOLDrocks · 12/06/2014 19:25

YANBU.

WeddedBliss · 12/06/2014 19:34

Yanbu.

DH has the most awful timing. The other day I was cleaning out the food waste bin at the kitchen sink when he came up behind me and put his hands around my waist suggestively.

Seriously? I'm elbow high in rotten-veg juice, F off!

Flowerfae · 12/06/2014 19:42

no... 20 minutes takes the pee, could of done it for himself in that time :P
