So its 3.33am and arrived for my first ever holiday since becoming the proud new owner of two slightly warn looking employees (also refered to as parents by the other giants) on NYE.

After a long flight (8 and a half hours) yesterday I decided to take leave early and get some shut eye. I woke up at 1am for a mid night feast and 2.40am for a chat. I am on holiday after all. I don't normally do this at home as I tend to sleep through till 5.30/6am but hey I am on holiday.

I thought that the only decent thing for them to do is at least stay up with me following my feast and get up to have a chat. I have tried squealing , yelping, general gurgles and now I am getting so annoyed I am starting to threaten them with my frustrated pre cry. That normally shifts them!

I know at least one of them is awake and pretending to be asleep. I can see her poking her head out to look at me every now and then. Oh she is going to pay for that in a minute!

AIBU to expect them to them to get their lazy butts out of bed immediately when I call? Not impressed.

Name change baby Faith?

Andrewofgg · 11/06/2014 09:18

You can't get the staff, can you?

Have they got other employers or are you the sole proprietor of the business?

LittlePeaPod · 11/06/2014 09:24

Andrew I am the sole proprietor. The way they have been banging on about this holiday you would think they never got a break!

Anyone wondering if its a name change. It's not. Smile

You may find that they impose a co-proprietor on you later. And they will expect you to get on with this extra person!
