to want to buy a t-shirt that doesn't disintegrate after a couple of washes

AIBU to think that it's impossible to find good quality t-shirts that don't either end up misshapen or with those little holes that start appearing after a few washes.

I am sure this didn't used to be the case. I would happily pay more for ones that last.

Where are you buying your t-shirts? Mine don't disintegrate/ get holes/ go shapeless!

Massimo Dutti or Banana Republic. Usually around £20.

Asda and new look seem to be the absolute worst offenders for that!! I bought a top in new look tge other week, it has been washes twice and has holes on ot and the fabric has started to disintegrate - am livid but as is bloody typical I can't find the "safe place" I put the receipt
