My new fridge freezer has arrived....officially the same width as the old one. It doesn't fit...well it might if I lift the work top and shave a few centimetres from it.

Fuuuuuck!

Have a big living/dining room, how shit will it look in there? Blush.

It could double as dining table?

TenThousandSpoons · 07/06/2014 07:33

Seriously though, send it back. If you measure it and it's bigger than the size it was advertised as, they have to refund you.

TheSkiingGardener · 07/06/2014 07:33

Measure it! What a pain.

Busymumto3dc · 07/06/2014 07:33

Oh dear!

It could be a feature I suppose

Busymumto3dc · 07/06/2014 07:34

Or if you grease it up, it might slide in

ohmymimi · 07/06/2014 07:36

Lace doily and a vase of flowers on top and you'll never notice it. Hmm

MissMilbanke · 07/06/2014 07:37

Are there any casings you can unscrew ?

Standinginline · 07/06/2014 07:40

We had the same last weekend. Slightly wider than our last one. Partner took the skirting of the wall side (it's between the wall and the work surface ). But you can also shave the work surface top ? You don't notice the wall without the skirting because the fridge freezer comes out as far as the wall does.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 07/06/2014 07:48

We use chest freezer as an extra seat in my house occasionally. Could you do that?

JakeBullet · 07/06/2014 07:54

Yep....the bit of skirting board is going lol.

In the meantime the fridge freezer is in here.

Arf at using it as a dining table and or extra seating.

I shall call it a style discussion piece.
