I don't know whether to go along with him and throw my keys in the middle.....
The other swingers are 20yrs older than us and it feels wierd.
What you reckon?? It might be fun tho hey?!

Whoops I'm not a seasoned swinger, honest but I always think of swingers in leather harnesses and PVC pants with integral dildos etc...
Or is that just me?

I'll get my coat...

MrsChickPea · 05/06/2014 21:28

Has he not explained it to you? Have you not asked any questions? WEIRD.

EBearhug · 05/06/2014 21:28

If you're really serious about it, go to a proper club where it will be completely acceptable to say no if you're not comfortable with anything. I think if it's a group of neighbours, there would be a lot of pressure and expectation.

meditrina · 05/06/2014 21:29

What's Corrie doing in a Thursday?

It's all gone to the dogs.

whatwoulddexterdo · 05/06/2014 21:30

You do realise that this is a parenting site?
Seriously just get a life

GreeboOgg · 05/06/2014 21:30

MrsChickPea Of course you can!

meditrina · 05/06/2014 21:31

"full on pervy regalia swinging?"

I need an explanation too. Is this somethingto do with the House of Lords?

Kewcumber · 05/06/2014 21:33

You do realise that this is a parenting site?

Are parents not allowed sex then? Or are they just not allowed to talk about sex Confused

whatwoulddexterdo · 05/06/2014 21:33

This is the type of thread that really pisses me off
Yes I can just ignore but honestly some bored stupid teenager is just looking to get a rise
Luckily it hasn't worked.......

MrsChickPea · 05/06/2014 21:33

About 20 years ago, one of my friends DH (20 years older) was into swinging (and I think they did do things like putting the keys in the middle of the table). IT DESTROYED HER - she made herself look ugly as she hated it but couldn't seem to stop doing it. But I don't think this thread is in the slightest bit serious....

Kewcumber,
Do you really think this is genuine?
I pity you

GreeboOgg · 05/06/2014 21:36

You do realise that this is a parenting site?

All the better. My parents attended a swingers party hosted by my Da's boss many moons ago. They had no idea what it was. Mum was perplexed by said boss pushing a condom into her hand, and the way everyone seemed to vanish after a while.

They had to wait nearly 20 years for me and my brother to explain what type of party it was, after we'd listened to their story about "that bloody strange do at your boss's place, back in 1980-something" over dinner one evening.

We thought it was hilarious. They were horrified. If only MN had been around back then.

Scrumpy100 · 05/06/2014 21:36

Well you know, pervy things like tassles, buckles and the like, maybe the odd bit of horse riding stuff thrown in and one of those balls strapped in yer gob?

JuanPotatoTwo · 05/06/2014 21:38

Gin and tonic is low carb, yes (have regular not slimline tonic). That's about all I'm qualified to comment on in this thread I think ...

Scrumpy100 · 05/06/2014 21:38

Well the OP is either watching Corrie on plus one or has thrown herself into the party with gusto!

Kewcumber · 05/06/2014 21:39

You pity me because I don't think its outrageous for a parent to discuss sex - even sex that isn't strictly for the procreation of children Confused

I'm not really much interested if it's real or not, I chose not to discuss my own sex life on here but others are quite welcome to.

Kewcumber · 05/06/2014 21:41

And if you think OP is a troll I think you'll find the done thing (also known as the "rules") is to report. Not pronounce your opinion to all and pity those of us who dare to post!

WallyBantersJunkBox · 05/06/2014 21:42

All those thongs going against gravity....like cheese wire through Camembert...

I hear the buffets are pretty good though.

Jump leads for two? Can do!

MrsChickPea · 05/06/2014 21:43

JuanPotatoTwo... what is it with the Gin? You defo need slimline tonic. Me no qualifications either, but this just so reminded me of the thread earlier this afternoon... as I mentioned up thread which I won't repeat.
GreeboOgg... thank you!

Is it Juan? Thought regular was too sugary? Anyway, whoopee! Friday night treat.
How did I miss that it's another school holiday?

Sparklingbrook · 05/06/2014 21:46

Post in the Swingers Topic perhaps?

woosey35 · 05/06/2014 21:46

Sorry if I've offended anyone here. I just thought that this was a place that I could ask anything without being judged.

Just had a chat with dh about things. He assures me that its safe. The other couples are folk he knows through work. Apparently they've been doing it together 3couples, for about a year and have been asking dh to join but he wasn't sure how to bring up the subject with me.
I'm glad he has though as we have exhausted the usual sex stuff and were ready for something different.....guess its food for thought!!

Sorry again if I've offended anyone.

OP posts:
MrsChickPea · 05/06/2014 21:47

I don't think anyone (even the OP) has taken this very seriously to be honest. OP hasn't been back for a while, and I don't think anyone (so far) really knows about swinging to offer any constructive advice, so people are randomly chatting amongst themselves with their own vague opinions of swinging (with the odd curve-ball thrown in). No one has been mean, horrible or anything. I don't think any of us really understand. Op has been friendly and chatty and hasn't come back for a bit....
