AIBU to be really impressed with the Sealife Centre's approach?

Not really an AIBU but I'm in such a good mood I had to share.

Took dd to the Sealife Centre today. She uses a wheelchair so I get in free as her carer (which, in itself, made my day). However, what really pushed me over the edge of cheery was the fact that they don't use the word 'carer' the call it a 'personal assistant'.

What a lovely way to put it.

Yes, this is the term now, as part of the move to help people with additional needs take control of their own lives. My DH is a PA and is employed directly by the individual so they call the shots, it's great!
