My sister is in a management position and so very unhappy. Constantly.
My mum works for the same company elsewhere in the country and different position higher up.
Sister is applying for any jobs left right and centre just to escape. She has got an interview next week for a much less well paid job in a completely different sector and my mum has expressed to her that she is 'better than that' (or something to that effect). She is also being a bit dramatic about the paycut but my sister can afford to and she is past caring methinks!
Sister v pissed off with mum for lack of support, mum is cross sister isn't thinking it through.
What do I say to who when they ask me my thoughts on who IBU?!
WIBU to request they keep me out of it!?
I love them dearly but I can see why sis wants out but I understand mum is just worried and 'wants the best' in her words but she doesn't see how upset sis is!? Argh.

Say to each of them that you can see there are two sides to it and you don't want to get caught in the middle. Ultimately your sister is an adult and your mum ought to let her lead her own life and (potentially) make her own mistakes. I think whilst well intentioned, your mum is in the wrong.
