To have changed the sheets as DH is away tonight?

He rarely goes away. I can't wait to get into my lovely clean bed and read my book until I fall asleep. And then read in the middle of the night when I wake up. Without him lying there 'breathing'.

Oh wait! Who will bring me my tea in the morning?

Are you a Mr Male Brave Potato? Grin Teeheehee

DH starts night shifts tonight so bedding was changed today. Currently sitting in bed, watching corrie, eating chocolate! I do have ds (11m) sleeping next to me though but I quite like his breathing, even if he was sick a little on my clean sheets!!

Baby breathing is good

The smell of dd's breath as a baby. Best thing ever.

You all are lucky your DHs only breathe in bed. Mine scratches and scratches and eczema and leaves flaky dry skin deposits all over the sheets. It drives me insane. I'm seriously considering throwing him onto the spare bed.

My DH talks in his sleep too. Sometimes it's quite scary! He'll sit up with a jolt and start scrabbling around the bed asking where our toddler is-she's safely tucked up in her room and has been for the last 2 years Smile. The other night he got out of bed and said he needed to move the (huge) wardrobe to look under it as there was a bubble of paint on the ceiling of the room below (there wasn't). Luckily he is usually calmed by me telling him to go back to sleep or stop being daft Wink.

Clean sheets are wonderful, but what's even better is when you get into bed without knowing the sheets are clean. Best surprise ever.

Happened to me this week and reminded me why I love dh so much. Smile

Mines just finished a run of working the last 7 nights which means I have to share the bed with him tonight. I don't mind him laying there like a corpse, it's the fact he wakes up at 2/3am when I'm still reading and keeps telling me to go to sleep. If I'm not tired - I can't sleep. Does he understand that, does he *uck!

DH almost always here!

Last summer he went to France for 5 days on trip with school he works at.

I changed the sheets immediately.
Went to bed at 7-9pm every night.
Set up a little tea tray beside bed so I could have tea and biscuits whenever
Read for hours
Ipad for hours
Slept in middle of bed
Slept with electric fan on when hot - DH can't bear nose a likes to be warm

No one waking me up to talk to me about rubbish in middle of night when they can't sleep
No one breathing on me
No one breathing heavily and irritating me
No one giving off nuclear levels of heat that make me feel like I am having hot flushes
No one wrapping themselves round me like a rucksack
No one waking me up early for sleepy shag

Bed cool, tidy, bottom sheet unscrumpled.

DH ' Are you missing me love?'
Me ................

Smile
