To expect Payplan to refund me?

I was with Payplan for several months, Payplan is a Debt Management company and you give them a certain amount of money each month and they distribute it between your creditors (in case you didn't know).

I am now paying my creditors directly.

Payplan emailed me this morning to say they have still got my payment of £70.00 from several months ago however the amount is too small to dictribute. They ask me to pay an additional £1.76 to that the amount can be paid to my creditors.

Would I be able to ask them to refund this payment instead?

Why are you paying them directely even though Payplan are in place?

Secondly, I would ask them to either pay someone with it like they are ment to or refund it. Being £1.76 too short isn't going to make a blind of difference to the creditors (especially as you are paying them yourselves anyway).

Well I had cancelled the plan, however they still have a payment of mine in their system.

They refunded an amount to me (think it was about £40). Certainly less than yours.

Ah, then ask them to refund you. They have no need for it.
