To think that nailing a few old planls horizontally onto crappy old concrete buildings does not make them look 'contemporary'

Sorry - meant vertical planks.

It just makes them look like a collection of grotty old concrete buildings with planks fixed to them, vertically.

Am seeing this more and more as I';m out and about. Old multi-storey concrete car park - nail a few vertical planks on - instant upgrade. Instant shite more like.

And even worse when the wood weathers and splits and it looks even crappier than it was originally!

Where are you seeing this? I'm annoyed that I'm missing out on what sounds like a rich seam of annoyance!

All over the place.

They've done it on a multi storey car park at Parkway Station, although that is partly new build.

It looks tatty and soooo 2010's.
