To be frightened by the number of right wing parties in the UK

I have been to vote and on the ballot paper, were a number of right wing parties. These included BNP, UKIP, and The British Party.

I think it is scary to see so many right wing parties in the UK, and scary that they are getting votes. It frightens me as I wonder what will happen in the future to our society.

I do not want our society to become more misogynistic, racist and homophobic.

Fragmentation makes them weaker, not stronger.

I agree with aga. More parties means more separation of votes and decreased likelihood of power.

I know what you mean though, it's worrying that there are so many people with those views.

But what is going to happen in the UK? Because surely whoever wins will pander to the sizeable section of voters who vote for these right wing parties.

I just think anyone who is currently marganalised, is going to have an even tougher time in the future.

Agree with Agapanthers. Our EP voting list was 50% far right wing (including EDL which to my mind is a bunch of fascistic thugs). Thankfully this means that the eejits will be confused and it will entirely divide the vote.

Democracy in action. The far right are only marginally more scary than the inept left who leave the country bankrupt every single time.

Goodness didn't realise how often the UK had been bankrupt
