My least favourite one has gone on to say that the world will only change when 'we all find love in our hearts' and that this is the 'answer' to the issues facing people all over the world.
AIBU to want to put this person in a large cardboard box and just shake some bloody sense into her. She is advocating removing all regulations and rules in the world, ignorant of our human rights and what they stand for and what they mean. She seems to have some blissful idealism about a country without the right to vote and that somehow that goes hand in hand with not being ruled by a ruling class. Actually looking at the EVIDENCE of other countries where people can't/aren't allowed to vote or have their hands chopped off for voting 'wrong' it is quite clear that without the right to vote we'd be in a much worse position than we are now.
I don't understand this snobbery towards people who chose to vote/live in the real world and why it has become fashionable to turn your nose up at people who actually admit there is negative actions in the world and seek to change it.
Its driving me up the wall, I am SO angry with them.
