Off to New York via Iceland in 14 hours to get married

Just got a email saying there are crew shortages so the glasgow to Iceland leg is delayed by 8 hours.

So we will miss our connections. Will miss a day of our holiday will pay for a night in a hotel we don't get to use

Luckily we have a few days till we need to do all the city hall stuff

If you are flying with an eu-based airline a delay this long would qualify you for around £600 compensation.

Doesn't really help the fact that the first day or two of your holiday is screwed up though :-(

This will get you compensation. Also politely tell them up getting married and how upsetting it is etc, it might get you an upgrade!
