AIBU to want to revive Jilly Cooper thread?

Remember that thread about wanting to be a Jilly Cooper character?
I think that's me right now - I want to be going to a terribly glamorous office party (after a week of only eating steak and oranges) or holidaying in San Tropez with some very unsuitable tennis players.
Anybody with me?

I think Jilly must have liked a hint of TOWIE as she is very keen on her female characters using man-tan. And decades before vajazzles and brazillians Billy shaved Janey's bush.

I want to eat nothing but grapefruit for 3 days and somehow slip my newly lithe, man-tanned body into a dangerously low-zipped flying suit.....

Weather's been perfectly Jilly-like these last few days... I can smell wild garlic and the cow parsley is frothing over the verges.

I remember reading Wicked and thinking the child abuse storyline was a bit far fetched but now I'm wondering in view of recent events who she talked to and what more does she know.....( because she always goes on about her research at the end of each book) aand if that's true are 12 year olds really having sex in boarding schools?

MintyChips There's another way to lose weight. I broke my arm recently and was unable to prepare food in the usual way. For example, I could not slice even a tomato so getting through a steak was just impossible. I lived on Crispbread with a scrape of olive spread and dip or hummus on it. Bit into whole tomatoes and that was just about it. I lost slightly more than a stone and am so pleaded. I'd prefer to have done it a different way though! Wish I had a tan.

As for a flying suit, I had one once and it was so comfortable, zipping up from the crotch to the neck. Bit difficult to be out in the wilds somewhere and needing a pee when you are surrounded by men ........

My daughter is called Flora as I loved Flora Seymour so much when I first read Jilly's books.
