Im my day (old emotion) we just had very basic trainers, if you were flash you might have had ones with a real logo, but you just wore the same pair for school sport and any sport really.

My DD she is only 10, either wants or already has the following:
Tennis shoes - outdoors
Ordinary trainers from decathlon brand - general sports at school
Cross country running shoes (with spikes) for running in muddy grass etc
Indoor dance type shoes - too small, but won't bother replacing
Rugby/football type shoes - on her want/need list for camogie playing on grass
Hockey shoes - on her want list, special ones apparently, with knobbly soles for playing on the water based pitches.

and don't even get me started on DS who has 2 special cycling pairs just for whatever bicycle he happens to be riding!

This is not a stealth boast, just can't really believe how many pairs she needs!

Hockey and football boots can be combined.

That's all I have to offer I'm afraid, I'm tired today, the beasts have been running circles around me but I feel your shoe pain. Ours breed like bunnies!
