to serve DH coff-tea because I can't be arsed to make a new cup-o-tea for him?

So, putting in the sugar I accidentally spilled some granules of coffee in there...will he notice?

Should I just serve it to him...?

He will notice !! My partner knows when I've used the same spoon in my coffee as his tea, lol

FleurDeHeadLys · 14/05/2014 19:11

He will notice. And no jury would ever convict him... Wink

OublietteBravo · 14/05/2014 19:11

There is only one way to find out Grin - I bet he won't notice...

Stinkle · 14/05/2014 19:12

My DH always insists on seperate spoons as he claims he can taste my coffee if I as much as use the same spoon to stir his tea with.

In reality I can't be arsed, quite often granules of coffee end up in his tea and he never notices

Blondiebrownie · 14/05/2014 19:13

The time it took you to post this you could have made another so I think YABU. Grin

puds11isNAUGHTYnotNAICE · 14/05/2014 19:13

This made laugh! Thank you Gay Grin

PrincessBabyCat · 14/05/2014 19:13

Do it and deny it. :)

Insist they're stray tea leaves.

GayByrne · 14/05/2014 19:16

No way would it have taken as long to make another brew as to post a thread!

Making a brew is a right pita! It really annoys me to have to make one, but I love him so...

Anyway, he's drinking it and so far, no complaints...

OP posts:
GayByrne · 14/05/2014 19:24

Well he's finished his brew and he didn't notice.

I'm thinking next time I 'accidentally' put more in. See just how much it actually takes.

ahh this post made me giggle thanks for brightening up my evening Grin I told DP and he said "that's harsh!" I just think it's really funny and now can't stop laughing Grin

starfishmummy · 14/05/2014 23:02

I think YABVVU in making him a drink in the first place. Everyone knows that making hot drinks is what husbands are for....

GayByrne · 15/05/2014 11:06

Right, so this morning I put some more in (it was my turn to get up first - I sound like his brew-slave!).

Nothing. Nada...he's such a bitch when it comes to cofftea as well, all "I hope you're using a different spoon" etc. Can you imagine in a couple of months, I'll be making him an ACTUAL cup of coffee and he'll still think it's tea...

This is brilliant and definitely a good and useful experiment! Please keep it going! We need to know when the coffee / tea ratio gets too much!

RedPony · 15/05/2014 15:39

I'm loving that you have turned this into an experiment! just go carefull that he's not on to you and is planning his great revenge another way Grin

AnotherSpinningFuckingRainbow · 15/05/2014 17:25

Loving your work Gay! Once he's graduated to 50/50 cofftea, how about adding different substances?
Suggest gravy granules, cuppa soup, Bovril

GayByrne · 15/05/2014 17:47

He's defo not onto me.

Spinning I do actually like the guy, yanno...Grin

I think I saw a drink with both tea and coffee, iced and with jelly...
