Dear all,

I am about to name my business. I am a massage therapist (holistic, Swedish, deep tissue).

I am going to be offering a mobile service in and around London.

Please could you help me choose between

I Heart Massage
Viva Massage
Bliss Massage
Aroma Massage
Aura Massage
I Need A Massage
His And Hers Massage

I'm probably BU but thought I'd see what you think.

Thank you Smile

I like Viva Massage :) It jumps out. Have you done a quick Google/Companies House search to see if anyone else has those names registered? I'm guessing Bliss and Aroma and the like will be taken already? I may be wrong.

QuintessentiallyQS · 12/05/2014 11:03

I would avoid:

I Heart Massage - sounds naff

Aura Massage - Sounds WOO and I would not use you.
I Need A Massage - have you thought about Kneed Massage instead
His And Hers Massage - yuck- sounds like a threesome sex dungeon name

Contraryish · 12/05/2014 11:03

Please don't use I Heart Massage. Partly because the whole 'I Heart' construction is cringeworthy beyond words, and partly because mentioning hearts and massage together might suggest a more medical intervention than you are probably proposing.

HalfATankini · 12/05/2014 11:04

I like Bliss massage.

EverythingsDozy · 12/05/2014 11:04

Viva massage gets my vote Smile

gotthemoononastick · 12/05/2014 11:08

Anything 'Massage' sounds dicey to me,but hey that's only my view.

What about 'Wellbeing'

QuintessentiallyQS · 12/05/2014 11:11

It is a good idea to keep massage in the name as it will be easier to find you on google for somebody searching for a massage. People are unlikely to search for your business by name, but by type

grocklebox · 12/05/2014 11:13

I like Chat Massage whish is where this should be

JuniperTisane · 12/05/2014 11:14

I like Viva Massage. It sounds full of energy and health. All the rest sound tacky or beauty-therapistish.

squoosh · 12/05/2014 11:14

Be careful to pick a name which won't be confused for a business that gives ummmm, happy massages. Bliss Massage sounds dodgy.

Sneezecakesmum · 12/05/2014 11:17

I would avoid bliss massage as it sounds like a sex therapist!

Not keen on any, but maybe aura is best as it seems to relate to the holistic side of the business.

IWillOnlyEatBeans · 12/05/2014 11:18

Tranquillity massage?

CoffeeTea103 · 12/05/2014 11:20

Why does massage have to be a part of it? I do like viva though.

beauchat · 12/05/2014 11:23

Thanks everyone. Very helpful.

Coffee- I think having 'massage' as part of the name would make me easier to find online. Otherwise could be Massage Therapy instead of just Massage.

IWill- Tranquillity sounds great! Thanks

If you are the only masseuse, just keep it simple and use your name, so Jane Smith -mbile massage therapist. Classy and lets customers know it is a small business.

livingatheendofthewall · 12/05/2014 18:06

Bliss Massage Therapy sounds good

Andrewofgg · 12/05/2014 18:29

Massage for Peace

And underneath that Be the Next to Get the Massage
