to think "frozen" is a really bad example in terms of body shape

Currently watching frozen with dn. Can't believe the shape of the two main women in it, they make barbie look like a normal woman and posh spice like she has a huge waist and wrists.

Bit worried the impression this gives to young children. No wonder anorexia and bulimia are getting more common.

Makes sense, water ship down gave me nightmares

they look normal/ordinary size young girls and did you not see the princess sarky reference in it where the girl was far from perfect waking up, people get to wrapped up in what they see and what they dont look for I loved frozen and i think it gives out a great message to girls,

Mrsjayy huh? You think they look normal? even with the 15 inch waists?

WTF?

princess that's interesting to read. I was pretty stunned when I looked at the cat walk models and their dimensions and the Frozen characters. The characters look much closer to average than the models even though the numbers tell a massively different story.

I think what the mind credits as believable shape is very different for animations than for real people.

I don't think that the shape of animated characters is much of an issue. I also don't think it would hurt if once EVER in the history of the media a female who wasn't above average in attractiveness of appearance was portrayed as successful and achieving her goals (where the goals would not be marriage etc.)

Seriously! Ugly women rock. We are amazing.
