I haven't seen any of his comedy but I love Archie from balamory Blush and I loved it when he did Firestarter in let's dance for comic relief. I actually think I love him!

Oh yes! I was about to google it and watch it! I probably still will though, it's brilliant! Especially the chair bit!
Who was it that did the original? Was it Christopher walken?

I saw him on stage at Glasgow Citizens in A Day in the Life of Joe Egg.

He was absolutely BRILLIANT! So much so that he repeatedly reduced his costar to (unscripted) helpless giggling many times. Grin

Yes, Christopher Walken - that original took some beating!

PickleSarnie · 07/05/2014 20:58

I love him in Rev. Although I think I love Tom Hollander more. He's so lovely and dinky. He'd fit in my handbag and I could take him everywhere with me and feed him jaffa cakes.

Miles Jupp is lovely! I adore the way he cracks up laughing at other comedians on things like Mock the Week, it suggests that he's self-confident enough not to begrudge the attention being on other people, and that he's not worried about competition. One of my friends mocked me most unfairly for admiring him. Not as Archie though, only as himself. He is vaguely reminiscent of my DH in a certain light (though my DH is much less witty and much less well-spoken).

He's also very good on the news quiz - friday night comedy from radio 4.

You need to find Gary Tank Commander on you tube. He plays Captain Fanshawe

Just in case you fancy him in his officer's mess uniform as well as fatigues

My crush on him isn't hidden - I tell everyone Grin

I like these suggestions! I have got a long list of things I now need to google and watch! I will get my fix of him Grin

He was on The Unbelievable Truth on Radio 4 this week, it's well worth a listen on iPlayer Radio if you missed it.

He also chaired a v amusing R4 quiz called 'It's not what you know', in which various celebs had to guess how their friends & relatives had answered questions about them. MJ was just so clever in it, and makes me laugh immoderately in everything he does.

Disclaimer: I too have a bit of a crush Blush
