Have you tried Ghost?
Their standalone stores are mostly in London, but John Lewis stocks their ranges, and they have a good returns policy

sparechange · 30/04/2014 10:19

The Ghost fabrics and cut are very flattering for most shapes and sizes, although they are very long so you might need to take them up unless you are quite tall

All of the above are in the sale, but they have loads more in the full-price section of the website

Just found a site called Missydress.co.uk that seems to have a large selection of wedding dresses under £100. The earliest that they deliver if ordered today is 15 May.

For example

I don't know what these places are like, if you want to try before you buy I suppose high street would be the best option.

TheTertiumSquid · 30/04/2014 12:03

Try this site OP myeveningdress.co.uk - lots of lovely dresses under 30. If you look at their bridesmaids dresses there are quite a lot of nice styles.

ScrambledSmegs · 30/04/2014 12:34

Ooh, TK Maxx have this

Coast

Obviously not the same as the one you like, but still lovely.

Cleorapter · 30/04/2014 18:25

Love that top shop one.

PrincessBabyCat · 30/04/2014 18:35

Rent a Dress I'm pretty sure they ship to the UK (they have a fb page for UK).

HannahLaRouge · 30/04/2014 19:18

Have you looked at the bhs twist and wrap dress? It can be made into the style you like. Doesn't come in ivory though I don't think

Doctrine, I'm so chuffed that you noticed my namechange convention Grin I haven't decided whether May should be all pretty & Spring-like or daft & sweary.

maddy68 · 01/05/2014 07:38

NotYouNaanBread · 01/05/2014 08:38

I wish wish WISH I had known about J Crew wedding dresses when I got married. They are lovely and can be found on ebay too, if you are that way inclined.

JJshouse.com do good bridal dresses, not too expensive and you usually get expedited delivery free- tends to take about a week after ordering to come.

GobbolinoCat · 01/05/2014 20:39

not read thread but MOnsoon which I am sure has been mentioned has some stunning dresses...also phase eight....and TK max...

IfIDontKnowAndYouDontKnow · 08/05/2014 11:57

Have finally worked my way through all links! They are fab :)
Yesterday I went out and tried a few Dresses on. Really loved a dress I tried on in H&M, it was a bridesmaids dress and gave me a beautiful figure. Felt luxurious and was a bargain £35! However it was a dusky pink colour and didnt suit me.

They have a wedding dress in the same style (so should give me the same shape) and it has different neck detail, making it slightly more 'glam'. That costs about £60 so may order that & try it.

At least I know what style suits me best now.
Whats onemore for some reson I cant pm you?
